NAMB Announces Key Conference

Experienced real estate professional Tom Velken owns and serves as the president and principal of Viking Real Estate Group, a full-service residential and commercial real estate investment and finance company. He takes care of the company’s day-to-day operations and dealings with clients. Tom Velken maintains membership with the National Association of Mortgage Brokers (NAMB).

NAMB is a professional association that represents the interests of mortgage professionals and homebuyers. Since its establishment in 1973, NAMB has maintained its commitment to promoting the highest ethical standards and professionalism among its members.

NAMB has announced its key conference this year: NAMB National 2023. The 2023 conference is scheduled for September 8-11 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. This year’s conference will build upon the success of last year’s gathering, which is regarded as “one of the most important conferences in recent memory.”

Last year’s keynote speakers were Randi Zuckerberg of Zuckerberg Media, Julienne Joseph, Deputy Assistant Secretary of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, and Representative Steven Horsford (D-NV). Breakout sessions included topics such as “How to be a Pro in a Changing Mortgage Environment,” “Growing Your Business in a Shrinking Market,” and “Choosing a Non-QM Lending Partner,” among others.
